BUS 318 - Introduction to Electronic CommerceCredit Hour(s): 3 An introduction to the electronic medium, principally the Internet, as a means of carrying out successful business transactions. The focus will be on the factors involved in efficiently developing, managing, and marketing a business via the Internet both as a stand-alone business and as a supplement to a bricks-and-mortar organization. Students will become familiar with setting up a business website and utilizing marketing, management, and accounting tools for web businesses. 3 Credit(s).
Prerequisite(s): ECO 202 - Principles of Microeconomics and CSC 100 - Computer Literacy or BUS 230 - Computer Applications or equivalent. Course Session Cycle: Fall Semester
