The course will focus on the criminal justice system’s specialized writing and communication functions, including criminology, forensic investigation, prosecution, and the courts. Special emphasis is given to the highly specialized language of the law, including legal Latin, and the use of Terms of Art found only in the legal professions. 3 Credit(s).
