TCS 100 - Introduction to Technical Studies

This course serves as the basic orientation and foundation of technical studies certifications. Topics include introductions to: safety (OSHA 10), construction math, hand tools, power tools, construction drawings, communication skills, employability skills, and materials handling. This course is a prerequisite or corequisite for many of the technical studies certificates and degree options. Students will have the opportunity to earn an NCCER certificate and OSHA-10 certification in this course. 3 Credit(s).
