MTH 410 - Introduction to Numerical Methods

An introduction to the fundamental methods that are used to solve problems in applied mathematics. Topics will include the approximation of functions, numerical integration and differentiation, and the solution of systems of equations. Software will be used to apply these methods to a variety of problems in science, engineering, and business. 3 Credit(s).
