BIO 203 - Microbiology for Health SciencesCredit Hour(s): 4 Microbiology for Health Sciences will introduce students to microbiology concepts as they apply to the health sciences field and to the interactions of microorganisms with humans including those associated with wellness and disease. Topics include basic morphology, genetics, physiology, mechanisms of disease transmission, control of microorganisms, the immune system and microbial pathogens.
