Use of the natural environment is an integral part of the curriculum and is supported by the Ferrum College Outdoors program. By providing opportunities for the student body to participate in adventure pursuits, Ferrum College Outdoors affords the Outdoor Recreation minor the opportunity to develop, implement and evaluate programs while gaining valuable technical and leadership skills. NOTE: Outdoor Recreation minor cannot be taken in conjunction with the Recreation Leadership major. Please select Outdoor Recreation Specialist emphasis area within the major.
