HIS 497 - LatinX Homelands: Mexico City

Credit Hour(s): 3
Students will travel to Mexico City and explore the history of Mexico through guided tours, museum visits, and discussion of the city’s landscape. We will also consider the cultural, political, and economic connections between the United States and Mexico over the course of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries including immigration policy, artistic movements, economic alliances such as NAFTA, and the fusion of food styles. A travel expense fee will be charged.  3 Credit(s).
