BIO 320 - Human Nutrition

[EA1, QE] Emphasis on the biochemical and physiological functions and metabolism of nutrients in the study of normal nutrition. Biochemical structure of nutrients, energy transformation, and nutrient metabolism of major organ systems are discussed. Adequacy of diets for the life cycle and preventive nutrition related health issues will be presented. 3 Credit(s).
