The Graduate Certificate in Instructional Development prepares educators, administrators, and other education professionals who already have a bachelor’s degree and/or a master’s in education or a related field who want to advance their career to the next level. In this three-course, nine-credit hour program, educators will come away with the knowledge, skills, and experiences to strengthen their instructional practice in the classroom for an engaged student-centered learning environment. The certificate program is 100% online and can be completed in three seven-week terms. Upon completion, the certificate can be applied by itself or in combination with the Graduate Certificate in Inquiry-Based Curriculum Design toward the completion of Ferrum College’s Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction.
