In this course students explore the history of healthcare informatics, current issues, basic infomatics concepts and health information management applications.  Effective cyclical planning is a critical skill in nursing and is dependent on the accuracy of data.  Teaching strategies will be utilized to allow studnets ot navigate these processes.  3 Credit(s).
